This single variety Caturra goes through the typical washed process, but when it comes time to ferment the pulped coffee, some juice and fruit from prior fermentations are added back in. This gives the microbes a head start, rather than building fermentation from square one. The result is sweeter, a bit brighter, and with a bigger fruity punch. A silky body with tropical fruit funk pairs with the aroma of sweet wine.

Supernatural celebrates our love for natural process coffees. Natural process coffee involves sun drying the coffee beans inside the coffee cherry, harnessing the power of fermentation to impart natural sweetness into your cup.
This lot of beans from Caldas, Columbia under goes a 36 hour fermentation.
This is a light roast coffee that exhibits notes of berry jam, meyer lemon, and dark caramel in our cup.

This natural process coffee is dried outside, whole cherry, in small batches for 3-4 weeks, lending additional sweetness and fruit notes in the cup. Not a fruit bomb per se, this is an easy drinking and satisfying coffee that balances fruit notes and delicate acidity with rich cocoa flavors, not unlike a chocolate covered strawberry. We roast this dense, sugar-packed bean to a solid medium to bring out its full potential.

A wonderful light roast natural process coffee from Carlos Cadena, a previous Cup of Excellence winner. This coffee explodes with flavors of plum, brown sugar, and cloves with a boozy sweetness that goes down easy.
